North Wales developments receive £975k funding
Four development schemes in Anglesey and north Gwynedd will share £975,000 in regeneration funding.
The capital, which has been announced by housing and regeneration minister Carl Sargeant, is aimed at improving communities in the two areas.

Three take space at Deeside Industrial Park
Three companies have taken a combined 330,000 sq ft of floor space at Deeside Industrial Park.

Landlords back Grimsey's business rates call
The British Property Federation (BPF) today backed veteran retailer Bill Grimsey’s call for a ‘root and branch’ review of business rates, as analysis of European Union data revealed the UK pays the highest business rates of any country in Europe, and more than France and Germany combined.

Fewer UK shops stand empty
The percentage of empty shops in town centres has fallen from a record high, according to the British Retail Consortium.
The empty shops survey showed sharp regional variations, with the figure for Wales at 15.9%, compared with 17.9% in April.

Growth of commercial activity strongest in six years – report
The 'Total Commercial Development Activity Index', which monitors the overall performance of the UK commercial property sector and is published by Savills, said July registered +20.1 per cent, up from +18.9 per cent in June.
The latest reading indicated the rate of expansion was sharp and the fastest since May 2007, Savills said.
