Nuclear grant deal for Wylfa

Details of a funding package for the community around the planned Wylfa nuclear power plant on Anglesey have been revealed by the government.

Communities around eight sites in England and Wales are set to receive up to £1,000 per megawatt hour over 40 years from when the stations begin operating.

Council approves Circuit of Wales

The £250m Circuit of Wales for Ebbw Vale has been unanimously approved by councillors at Blaenau Gwent Council.

Developer Heads of the Valleys Development Company said the Circuit of Wales could create thousands of jobs in the area.

Manufacturer eyes new £5m North Wales base

An automotive supply company is looking to consolidate its operations in North Wales in a £5m project expected to create new jobs in the area.

Reflex & Allen, which manufactures pneumatic and hydraulic tubing from its plant on Kinmel Park in Bodelwyddan, is hoping to take over the former Hotpoint plant which closed in 2009.
